Apprenticeship for the Federal Transportation Minister

Apprenticeship for the Federal Transportation Minister

22.10.2014

Federal Transportation Minister, Alexander Dobrindt (CSU), wants to submerge himself very deeply in the logistics sector. To kick-off the 4th National Conference on Goods Transport and Logistics, he’s making a very specific offer to the industry representatives, “I’m going to do an apprenticeship with you.”

Of course, we immediately extended a heart-felt invitation to the Minister in writing, to carry out the apprenticeship in his Upper Bavarian homeland, on location with us. Our offer to the Minister: an in-depth look into the daily life of logistics through direct participation in general cargoes over hub and spoke. In the meantime, we weren’t the only ones who had extended an invitation to the Minister based on his statement. The Ministry then also announced that the State Secretary, Dorothee Bär, would soon be available for apprenticeships as well. This said, we’re very excited about their response! At Eberl, we already have experience with important visitors: While he was the sitting Transportation Minister, Peter Ramsauer once visited us in Aiging.
